Game of the Day - Fulham 4 v 0 Tottenham - 30/01

The game of the day, for me was Fulham's hammering of Tottenham. Fulham have had a poor start to the season and have found it difficult to pick up wins. But the return of strikers such as Andy Johnson and Moussa Dembele have rejuvenated Fulham's recent form.

Fulham fielded arguably their best 11. Tottenham also fielded a strong side. Earlier in the season, Spurs had beaten Fulham at Craven Cottage in the league. Spurs had also knocked Fulham out of last seasons F.A Cup.

Match Rating 7/10 - Fantastic win for Fulham. In recent games its clear Fulham have shown their true quality. They were unlucky not to get at least a point in their last game against Liverpool. But Fulham showed a strong attacking intent and continuously forced the spurs' defence to make mistakes. One thing I enjoyed about this game was how well Fulham played in contrast to Spurs who didn't show up. This game saw a rarity of two penalty's in 5 minutes! Spurs simply couldn't cope with Fulham's play today. The solo goal of Moussa Dembele emphasised the poor Spurs defending as he was allowed time and space to run from the half way line, unchallenged and calmly fire Fulham's fourth.
